Waltham Forest Windrush Awards in Afiwe

Afiwe is a community publication developed from the work of the Waltham Forest Windrush Community Consortium.

Its first edition, the Windrush Season 2026 Edition, will celebrate local activity, history, voices and community contributions taking place across Waltham Forest.

The publication will feature the developing story of the Waltham Forest Windrush Awards 2026, the partnership with Bob Baker of Heritage Associates, and opportunities for local people to nominate those whose contribution deserves recognition.
